How to improve basketball
Would playing a best-of-seven quarters contest make basketball more exciting?

I actually think, as a spectator, the end of the basketball game is the worst part. It’s really slow and boring. Sure you get great moments like that buzzer beater 3 Lebron hit in the playoffs last year, but that’s just the nature of winning the game. I don’t think all the timeouts, fouls, and free throw shooting in general are fun to watch at all, though. Not worth the exciting moments in the least bit.

It reads written by someone who doesn't really care for basketball.
Especially the pointless “Basketball is only exciting in the last 2 minutes” comment. If anything, NBA can get exceedingly bogged down in the 4th quarter. Having more end of quarter/game scenarios just increases the importance and visibility of the refs, as well as head coaches who are paid millions of dollars to overanalyze a game with close to 100 possessions.
The 2009 White Sox....like a 40 degree day.
