I think we’ve all read about the various kinds of moronic stereotyping (racist or otherwise) that athletes are subject to, ala BJ Upton is lazy, Jose Reyes is the most exciting player in baseball, only short white guys are gritty, dog fighting and steroids are huge moral failings but beating your wife is part of your personal life, etc.
