If I see him around here in Tucson...

… I will give a good kick in the shin and say, “Rickey says thanks a lot”.

Damn.

Even in the system I was trying to push a few weeks ago, Henderson would’ve been recognized by every sportswriter. And yes, I realize that Tommy John is less famous than Henderson, now. I have no clue WTF I was thinking.

Ah, I see people didn't look at his actual ballot

It’s a Who’s Who of “debatable” HoFers (BertB, Rice, Dawson, Raines, etc.), a homer (Williams, for the 2001 D’backs), and Alan Trammel.

And the reason Ricky, for one, is excluded, “Well, you can only vote for ten.”

Not even those of us who would argue for The Flyball Dutchman or the REAL 1975 MVP would pretend there would be a reason to vote for them over “not Branch” Rickey.

He only voted for 8 though. Bert and Raines aren’t really debatable either, they should be in.
