The whole Blyleven/Morris (and Rice, etc) thing is just silly.
There are many guys on the bubble of being Hall of Famers. Blyleven is not one of them. All the appropriate points have been made. All anyone should have to do to convince someone that Blyleven belongs in the Hall is point non-believers to the best of the articles that have been written. With out bring preformed bias to the table, it’s a no-brainer.

bert blyleven is less of a man for not being in the hall of fame.
getting worked up over anything the writer’s association does or does not do seems rather a misuse of energy.

I know people always say this
And I know that it’s basically true. But, I still get frustrated at seeing this type of idiocy. These guys hold the key to something that should be revered and they’ve completely fucked it up to the point that we shouldn’t care about it. There’s something wrong with that and it should be fixed.

Sorry
Just to clarify, the idiocy I’m referring to is the writers, not your comment/point of view.

It’s too good to not use whenever possible. The “This is important, someone is wrong on the internet” one should be, and probably is, as well.

I've gone from...
“Oh, Jon Heyman, right. Ok, what’s his report”
to
“Jon Heyman?!? Why do we care what HE thinks?!?”
all in one offseason.
