I really like how Tom attacks the Pujols vs. Manny discussion. If you remove Manny's batting line with the Dodgers from Pujols' batting line, you're still left with 416 plate appearances at a .450 OBP. Would you rather have Manny, or Manny plus more greatness? Yeah, that's what I thought.

I think I'll take this approach when comparing hitters in the future, especially when one has significantly fewer plate appearances than the other one.
