I just ran the numbers.
There is no correlation between these groups and OBP and BA. The correlation scores are all around or less than .10. And not to be AR, but the first list only has 19 players. It is interesting stuff to know. I wish I saw more White Sox in the second list.

Who has the biggest separation between swinging outside the zone and swinging inside the zone? Some of the free-swingers and the reserved folks may simply be people who swing at everything and/or swing at nothing…
