I lied, one more post today. After reading this interview with Billy Beane, which is very, very good, I got interested in Eric Chavez' contract . Well, needless to say, I was a bit amused when I saw this line -- a clause in the deal:

During certain games thruout the season, GM Billy Beane must care for Eric's 2 dogs

I'm not sure if there's a better clause in the history of baseball contracts than that.
