Nationals WAR--Various 1B scenarios

Today I look at various possible scenarios for the Nationals 1B situation, sans Teixeira.

I don't see why they don't just

give Willingham the job. They have so many better OF options and Johnson is unreliable in health. If Johnson comes back, move him back to left. But there was a rumor about Milledge being traded. That would be a good idea if they could get some good prospects… but they also have a vast number of what I think are interesting SP options. I’d say that every single role on the team is up for grabs except for SS and 3B.

Well, the main reason is that Nick is better. If Nick goes down, it’s possible Willingham will get the job, but it doesn’t seem like he’s really interested in changing positions, so it could be another Soriano-type battle of wills.
