The Ricciardi Wire

Another day, another waiver wire claim by the Toronto Blue Jays. This time: LHP Les Walrond. A former Cub/Cardinal Walrond was with the Phillies, and stop me if you've heard this before, but he gets groundballs and swinging strikes, although the former better than the latter. Another interesting Jays signing is former top draft pick Adam Loewen. I'm assuming he's going to try out as a position player.
Luckily (?) for the Jays, A.J. Burnett opted out, which gave them the roster spot now given to Walrond. Just a slight downgrade there.
