Can Dempster sustain the workload though?
His tRA was a lovely 3.59, but he hadn’t been a starting pitcher for several years since his surgery, until 2008.
I know that's a pisser, baby.

It's a bit of a risk,
but it’s not as if he tired down the stretch. He has slimmed down noticeably over the last year and a half or so and seems to have realized the importance of proper conditioning, something his teammate Carlos Zambrano should be made aware of quickly. I would worry more about the inevitable dip his numbers are going to take more than I would about his health.

You're right
I could see some regression from Zambrano as well (he hasn’t had a tRA under 4 for 3 years, which isnt awesome for a 90MM pitcher)
I know that's a pisser, baby.
