The Scariest Baseball Player...Ever
In honor of Halloween, I present to you Spook Jacobs.
Robert Forrest Vandergrift Jacobs apparently earned the nickname “Spook” because he was a phantom on the basepaths. Scariest dude in baseball? You decide.
Also scary: the state of the Washington Nationals. Yikes.
Anyone have any good baseball-themed Halloween costumes? You could dress up as a diety and tell everyone you were Albert Pujols. Or a wizard with a baseball glove and tell people you were Mark Ellis. Or you could wear a Rays hat and take credit for their success, and tell everyone that you’re Chuck LaMar*.
Other ideas?
*To be fair, LaMar himself was quite humble and showed humility – it was the Fox broadcast crew that lavished undue praise upon him

Kinda funny.
Clutch: A measurement of how much better or worse a player does in high leverage situations than he would have done in a context neutral environment. http://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/index.php/glossary/
