Manny has been an absolute beast for LA,
Batting Average may be a bad stat, but you can’t argue with .498 since his trade.
No you can not.
With a batting average that high it means everything else is pretty high up there also. He has been a beast and I suddenly like him a lot more.

I've always liked Manny
I don’t think he’s all that smart, but he always reminded me of the best kid on a little league team. Not mature, funny in a childish way, and he plays the game in such a way that he recognizes that ultimately, baseball is just a game.
some people have argued that his blase in-game attitude might actually make him a better player
he doesn’t succumb to pressure, etc. of course, he’s a hard worker outside of games, which lets him take that attitude during games. (and i’m talking about his hitting here, not his fielding.)
Beyond the Boxscore // Calling BJ Upton lazy is lazy.
.419 BABIP, though.
Not that he hasn’t been great.

Uh, that’s impressive? I know that proper form is to cup your exposed and over the open part of the glove, but I haven’t seen a professional baseball player consistently do that in years.
