Positive Tests Turned Over

So the names of those who came up positive in the supposedly "anonymous" survey test a few years ago will be turned over to the US prosecutors.

And people wondered why the evil, icky NAMBLA (a.k.a. the Player's Association) was leery about implementing testing and wanted all kinds of privacy protections. What organization in its right mind WOULD want to open its members up to potential legal implications?

RE Tests
The Players Union will go ballistic over this ruling if it stands, and I won't blame them one bit if for their anger.  Now, names will be leaked.  This ruling will impact labor negotiations in the future, especially the negotiations that involve drug testing.  When someone is told that a test will be confidential, it should be confidential.  Today, if a player flunks a steroid test, they're outed immediately and suspended 50 games.  Back in 2003, baseball went forward with this testing, this experiment, under a completely different set of rules.
